T
en years after it de-
buted, the popular
Celebrity Ballroom at
Indian Wells Golf Resort has
undergone a major facelift, re-
freshing and updating the
look of the space while mak-
ing state-of-the-art technologi-
cal improvements.
Renovations to the 2,600-
square-foot ballroom, which
can be partitioned into two
smaller spaces, were com-
pleted in March, and it is cur-
rently open and available for
events of all types. It's an
ideal location for corporate
and private groups alike –
business meetings, mixers, re-
hearsal dinners and other
types of celebrations for up to
250 guests.
In addition to lighter colors
on the walls and floor to give
the ballroom a fresh, clean
look, the most noticeable
changes are the vast improve-
ments in technology available
for presentations. There's a
massive video wall, high-tech
TV screens placed strategi-
cally around the room, and
improved ability to integrate
online content into program-
ming for meetings and events.
Event Sales Manager Syd-
nee Tucker said the renova-
tions were intended to
provide guests with the best
experience possible and
ensure that the venue was
keeping pace with the needs
of businesses and event
planners.
"It was important to update
the facility as time and tech-
nology develop to remain a
premier meeting and event
space," Tucker said "The
audio-visual enhancements
deliver bold sound and com-
prehensive display to an at-
tractive, fresh color palette
that encompasses the golf
course backdrop."
There is also a large pre-
function space and attached
patios with spectacular views
of the Eisenhower and San
Jacinto mountain ranges.
