hat tried-and-true saying "The
more, the merrier" most aptly
applies to socializing. Any ac-
tivity, event or celebration is simply
more fun with more people. This is
particularly true during the holidays,
when friends, family, businesses, clubs
and even neighborhoods gather to
enjoy the season, review the past year
and look toward to the next one.
And for more than four years, Vue
Grille & Bar has been one of the most
popular spots in the Coachella Valley
for large, festive gatherings – and for
good reason: The same top-notch serv-
ice, delectable food and friendly at-
mosphere enjoyed by couples and
smaller groups works very well on a
grander scale, too.
"We've always taken pride in our
level of service at Vue," says Scott
Winant, Indian Wells Golf Resort's Di-
rector of Food and Beverage. "The
finest meal in the world won't be up to
par if the service doesn't match – and
we're always aware of that."
The food quality at Vue mirrors the
restaurant's service, and its large-party
menu all but explodes with appetizing
choices. Dinner options include pista-
chio-crusted Atlantic salmon, lobster
tail, Kentucky bourbon chicken, or a
12-ounce Angus rib-eye – all delec-
tably world-class.
Vue can host gatherings of up to 50,
says Winant. "We offer the best of both
worlds: large events, but in a private,
intimate setting. That exclusive feel
adds a nice touch to the experience."
Although Vue doesn't furnish a holi-
day menu, not to worry, Winant says.
The restaurant specializes in any and
all occasions, including those two holi-
day staples, Christmas and Hanukkah.
And any entrée, libation, seating lay-
out or decorative element can be cus-
tomized to the finest detail.
Take linens, for instance.
"We have specialty linens in a vari-
ety of colors and textures to match any
occasion or season," Winant says. "The
right atmosphere is so important."
