A
wedding planner (highly recommended, but not re-
quired) will assist with all the etiquette and protocol
involved – rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and toasts.
They will create a timeline, coordinate and organize the
rehearsal and reception, as well as assist with the corsages,
boutonnieres and bouquets on wedding day. They also
will oversee the set up by the wedding vendors, review
contracts and coordinate payments, and provide addi-
tional professional referrals as needed. Your catering man-
ager will function as a menu consultant for food and bev-
erage selections, create an estimate of charges and handle
billing, create a detailed banquet event order that informs
the resort's operations team and allows them to execute
your big day flawlessly. Your catering manager also will
create a floor plan, oversee and schedule the tasting, func-
tion as the on-site liaison between the wedding planner
and the operations team, and ensure a seamless transition
to the operations team after the ceremony has concluded.
