A TEE
TIME
W
hen the Coachella Valley
temperatures rise and the
area's population dips as
the snowbirds flee for cooler climates
during the summer
months, many restau-
rants in the region
limit their hours of
operation or close
down entirely.
But if you're a
Valley resident or a
visitor in the off-sea-
son, you can rely on Vue
Grille & Bar at Indian Wells Golf
Resort to be open for business daily
on the same schedule as you'd find in
the fall, winter and spring.
"We understand that our year-
round guests are the ones who help
us thrive, and we don't believe in let-
ting our loyal guests down by clos-
ing," said Director of Food and Bev-
erage Scott Winant. "The hope has
always been, too, that this is the time
of year when we can attract
new guests while other
restaurants are closed,
and we can show
them all that we
have to offer so they
will continue to visit
us during the peak
season."
Regular summer visitors
to Vue Grille & Bar will be pleased
to know that the restaurant's popular
prime rib special is back on Saturday
nights since the beginning of June.
From 4-9 p.m., diners can enjoy a
delicious 12-ounce piece of prime rib
with mashed potatoes and seasonal
vegetables for just $22, and select bot-
tles of wine will be offered at 50 per-
cent off.
Each Wednesday from 3-9 p.m.,
Vue will feature its burger special – a
half-pound hamburger with French
fries and a choice of draft beer, house
wine or well cocktail for $12.
This year, Independence Day hap-
pens to fall on a Wednesday, and
guests can celebrate America by
noshing on burgers while enjoying
the tunes from The Mighty Sweet
Nothings, a classic and contemporary
country music band with Coachella
Valley roots.
