PAVILION
dian Wells Golf Resort General Manager Steve
Rosen. "We're excited with how the renovation
and expansion turned out and look forward to
hosting many spectacular weddings and events
there."
Some of the renovations included:
• An 800-square-foot suite directly behind the
Pavilion. The suite was designed with input from
wedding planners and can be used as a bridal
salon, a bridal party suite, a green room or a pri-
vate room for executive meetings.
• A 25,000-square-foot Event Lawn east of the
Pavilion that can host 700 guests for alfresco dining
or more than 1,000 for a reception.
• Expanding the south-facing front patio by 850
square feet. The larger patio presents spectacular
views of the surrounding Santa Rosa Mountains
and the Indian Wells Golf Resort clubhouse.
• Adding a new vestibule to the west entrance of
the Pavilion.
• Putting in 22 date palm trees wrapped in LED
lights to the surrounding space that will provide
ambient light for twilight and evening events.
• The addition of pull-down screens to all three
windowed sides that will cut natural-light glare
during daytime meetings.
So far, the feedback on the Pavilion upgrades has
been nothing short of spectacular, said Mike Teb-
betts, Indian Wells Golf Resort's Director of Sales
and Marketing.
"It's been jaw-dropping. The space was always
wonderful, but now it's even more adaptable to
different situations," he said. "It's like a perfect
blank canvas; we can now accommodate a far
greater variety of events, as well as larger gather-
ings. The guests love it."
