THE INSTRUCTORS
PGA Director of Instruction Eric Solander has been teaching golf for 20 years. The Palm Desert
resident knew he found his calling during his first lesson when he was able to get a student to hit
a flop shot over a nearby bush. He's been hooked on teaching ever since. A recipient of the 2020
Youth Player Development Award for the Desert Section of the Southern California PGA, Eric is

Lead Teaching Professional Jordan Hamblin is a third-generation golf instructor. Observing
his father and grandfather give lessons had a major impact and taught him that he could make
a difference in peoples lives through golf instruction. Jordan is a patient teacher who helps his
students unlearn bad habits and reinforce good ones. He was a top player in high school in
Idaho, where captured the state's 5A team and individual titles. > CONTACT Jordan Hamblin.
> PGA Professional David Curtis has been teaching since 2005, shortly after he was asked for
the first time to explain how he swung a golf club. Originally from Beaumont, David has a great
ability to communicate with his students and help them learn and increase their skill level. He has
won many awards from the Southern California PGA, including 2016 SCPGA Desert Chapter Player
