Annual aeriDcation and
maintenance projects get
courses in top shape for fall

I
n order to keep Indian Wells Golf
Resort's two courses in award-
winning condition, a very impor-
tant process takes place this time
of year: wall-to-wall aerification.
The work will take place on the Play-
ers Course from June 28-July 29, and then
the Celebrity Course from August 2- Sep-
tember 2. The courses will be closed dur-
ing those respective times.
One of the first things we do during
the aerification process has actually al-
ready begun – we've been lowering the
heights of cut when mowing to allow the
summer Bermuda grass a chance to grow
in and replace the winter ryegrass.
