"This kind of an activity is really perfect for so-
cial distancing," said Mike Tebbetts, the Director of
Sales and Marketing at Indian Wells Golf Resort.
"You're looking at a maximum group size of six
people to a green or a hitting bay, and it's all out-
doors."
Shots in the Night has been described as a
night-time golf amusement park, but really it has
to be seen to be believed. There are giant inflatable
targets on the driving range that light up when hit,
computer-generated laser putting games, and a
heavy emphasis on unique food, drinks, music and
fun. The best part about it is that it's just as enjoy-
able whether you're an experienced golfer or have
never picked up a club, Tebbetts says.
IWGR's food truck has returned to offer guests
unique dining options such as 'Chella fish tacos,
loaded nachos, and Carne Asada fries as well as
hand-crafted cocktails.
Tebbetts also emphasized that sanitation proce-
dures for Shots in the Night are being strictly fol-
lowed – including the cleaning of golf clubs – and
requiring guests to wear masks in situations when
social distancing isn't possible.
