So what are you supposed to do? Shots in the Night, of course. Indian Wells Golf Resort's nighttime entertainment experience allows diehard players and beginners alike the chance to keep enjoying the game after the sun goes down. With Shots in the Night, golfers can take aim at lit-up tar- gets on the driving range that sound out when you hit them or they can experi- ence the putting course outside the clubhouse that features computer-gen- erated lasers that project games such as horse, golf darts, shuffleboard and more. And after all that golf, you'll want to make a stop at the Indian Wells Food Truck, which features offerings such as Bacon Jalapeno Mac & Cheese Bites with Siracha Ranch, Short Rib Grilled Cheese with aged white cheddar, and a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. .............................................................. > clicK here to learn more. afTer darK golfers can still get in 36 holes without having to get out of bed before sunrise. Guests can book their first 18 holes online and then call the golf shop to schedule the second 18, which helps the staff ensure that you're leaving enough time between rounds. Those less in- clined to plan ahead can play a morning 18 and then come into the shop to book a replay round. That option is less ex- pensive, but doesn't offer a guarantee of the exact tee time you want for the afternoon. Golfers who haven't played 36 holes in a day – and even those who have – will need to prepare for a marathon out- ing on the golf course. "When playing golf for 8-plus hours in a day, always make sure you are drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of nutritious food, avoid alcohol early, and be sure to wear plenty of sun- screen," Burley said. "There are also some little things that can make a big difference, like making sure you take advantage of the shade offered by the golf cart rather than being in the sun all day, taking short lines to your ball if you are walking, and sitting down to rest when the time is appropriate."
