A
n old favorite has returned to the rotation for the ninth-
annual Desert Two-Ball Challenge, one of the most unique
golf tournaments played on Troon Golf-managed proper-
ties in the Coachella Valley.
The two-player team event is set for April 17-19, with Indian Wells
Golf Resort's Celebrity course added to the mix for the first time since
2017. The course will host the first day of competition followed by
Classic Club in Palm Desert and then Indian Wells Golf Resort's Players
Course for the final round and awards ceremony.
"This is always a great event where you can
get together with a friend or your favorite play-
ing partner and compete on three great courses
for three days," said Director of Sales and Mar-
keting Michael Tebbetts. "With two of the three
rounds taking place here, it's also a good oppor-
tunity to experience both of our courses in a fun
and competitive setting over the weekend."
Teams will participate in a scramble format
and will compete for top prizes, plus awards for
on-course competitions.
The entry fee is $598 per two-player team and
includes three rounds of golf, cart, prizes and
the awards ceremony.
