Cooking show features signature
dishes and more at Vue Grille & Bar
T
here's a new television star at Vue
Grille & Bar. Indian Wells Golf Re-
sort was recently highlighted in an
episode of "Breaking Bread" with
host Jan Boydstun, and the show featured
Manager Michael Navarro and Chef Nestor
Ruiz, who demonstrated how to create a cou-
ple of his signature dishes.
The locally aired show spotlighted the re-
cent renovations at Vue Grille & Bar, and also
gave viewers and inside look on how to cook
up the impressive meals and more.
Highlighted first in the show is the "The
Vue-rger," which consists of a half-pound
Creekstone Angus patty, bourbon braised
short rib, cheddar cheese, a giant onion ring,
coleslaw, Jack Daniels Fire onions, bourbon
bacon jam and house fries. That is followed
by another of Chef Nestor's signature dishes,
Scallops and Prawns with black garlic risotto
and asparagus in a specially prepared sauce.
