INTO FALL
Course overseeding, improvements on tap

W
e've had a busy summer at Indian Wells
Golf Resort, and we've managed to come
through the hot and humid weather
quite well.
The Players and Celebrity courses experienced turf
conditions that were some of the best around during the
season, but now we're entering a two-month stretch
where things get a little wild and crazy. Or at least that's
what it seems like.
During the fall, we have a number of projects going
on that fill our daily schedule, including overseeding
both courses. We began with the Players course in late
September.
In addition to growing in newly seeded areas, we are
finishing up projects on both courses, prepping some
areas for overseed, and getting wildflower areas ready
as well.
The Players Course will reopen on Friday, October 11,
