A
new food truck will be motoring in to Indian Wells Golf
Resort this fall, and is sure to become the place for
everything from golfers' breakfast and lunch staples to
creative and unique noshes and libations for guests enjoying the
soon-to-be-opened Shots in the Night golf experience.
The truck will replace the cafe inside the clubhouse, and after
testing it out in early June, Event Sales Manager Sydnee Tucker
is confident it will be a terrific addition to the resort.
"The food and drink options will be both practical and cre-
ative," Tucker said. "Breakfast and lunch will feature classic op-
tions like acai bowls and sandwiches, and the evening menu
will contribute to the entertainment factor with options like
'CubaDilla' and 'Chicken and Waffle Cone,' plus a great a selec-
tion of beer, wine and cocktails."
Golfers will be able to stop at the turn or before or after a
round for a quick bite. When Shots in the Night is open during
the evenings, the food and beverage options will get a little
more daring, with the menu changing from season to season.
The food truck will also be available for private events.
"I think the inclusion of the food truck with the Shots in the
Night operation will enhance the setup in a number of ways,"
Tucker said. "Guests will have the option to grab a drink or
snack without having to finish or pause a game, or go into the
restaurant or main resort building. I also think the food truck
will appeal to a variety of people including our Valley residents
and visiting families, businesses and team events."
