THE PAVILION
T
he summer of 2017 is bringing
major improvements to the popu-
lar Pavilion at Indian Wells Golf
Resort, with both addition and renova-
tion plans under way.
"The volume of business that we've
been having at the Pavilion since its
opening in 2014 has been phenomenal,"
said Steven Rosen, General Manager at
Indian Wells Golf Resort. "Guests and
event planners love the blank canvas
quality of the Pavilion, set against the
stunning backdrop of the surrounding
mountains. The improvements we're
making this year are a result of listen-
ing to our guests along the way and
seeking out ways to make the space
even better."
First up on the list of enhancements is
the build-out of an additional Pavilion
Salon, which will be able to house bridal
parties, reception speakers, tournament
managers and guests who require a pri-
vate, secluded area.
The space, located adjacent to the
main Pavilion, will include a lounge and
sitting area (with TVs), changing rooms,
restrooms, makeup tables and a private
patio. It will be fully stocked with bever-
ages, and catered food will be available
to make the room a full-service suite.
"We envision this space to be a
high-end build-out commensurate with
the rest of the facility," said Rosen. "It
can be a bridal salon, a small meeting
facility, a green room for a presenter,
even a room where tournament plan-
ners can get together to do scoring for
their events. It will remove the necessity
for the bridal party or event leaders to
have to be transported from the main
clubhouse to the Pavilion, as this up-
