INDIAN WELLS PROAM SET FOR EARLY FEBRUARY S ave the date and start making plans now as next year's Indian Wells Pro-Am golf tournament has been set for February 3-4, 2017. The competition will take place on the Players Course – recently ranked among the top 16 tracks in California – with festivities on Friday evening and the tournament on Saturday. "We expect another strong field competing for cash and prizes," said Michael Tebbetts, Director of Sales and Marketing at Indian Wells Golf Resort. And for the first time, Indian Wells has added an online entry portal so teams can sign up and make payment in advance. A sell-out field is expected for the third-annual event. MARK YOUR CALENDAR COURSES TO UNDERGO OVERSEEDING THIS FALL T he staff at Indian Wells Golf Resort is committed to keeping both courses in peak shape year-round, and regular maintenance helps achieve that goal. This fall, the Celebrity Course will be closed for overseeding from September 29-October 13, and then the Players Course will be closed for overseeding from October 16-November 3. BUY IN ADVANCE FOR SAVINGS FALL PLAYERS CARD ON SALE NOW T he Fall Pre-Paid Players Card is now available and will be valid for tee times starting at the end of Septem- ber. The Players Card allows golfers to buy 10 rounds of golf in advance – for play Thursday through Sunday – at a savings of up to 45 percent off each round. The pre-paid rounds can be used for up to three guests each day, and reservations can be made on both the Celebrity and Players courses up to 30 days in advance. The Fall Card is for use from September through De- cember. Looking ahead, the Winter Card is for play from January to March, the Spring Card is for use from March to May, and the Summer Card is for play from May to Sep- tember.
