oth courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort
were recently honored by Golfweek
Magazine as two of California's top lay-
outs in the publication's list of Best State-by-
State Courses You Can Play, 2016.
Featuring daily-fee tracks as well as courses
accessible via resorts from each state, the presti-
gious list comprises an exclusive group of the
country's top places to play.
Both the Players Course and the Celebrity
Course were classified as modern courses by
Golfweek in the annual roundup of layouts
selected by the publication's staff.
The Players Course landed at No. 21 on the
list, and the Celebrity Course fell in at No. 27.
Golfweek took into account course supply,
population, and level of play to determine how
many courses from each state to recognize.

pre-paid golf program
allows players to buy 10
rounds in advance, play
Sunday through Thurs-
day (or Fridays and
Saturday for an addi-
tional $10), and save
up to 45 percent.
Pre-paid rounds can
be used for up to three
guests per day (four
rounds total), and any
additional players can
pay a guest rate of $25
above the pre-paid rate.
The Summer Card will
be available for sale
through June 1 for $390.
The card also includes
complimentary practice
balls and use of practice
facilities, $25 same-day
replay rate (based upon
availability), and more.

he BNP Paribas Open was
held March 7-20 in Indian
Wells, drawing the top tennis
players from around the globe
to the Coachella Valley. Rafael
Nadal – 14-time Grand Slam
title winner and 28-time World
Tour Master title winner – par-
ticipated in the heated compe-
tition, and while he was in the
area, he also played a round of
golf at Indian Wells Golf Resort.
Having played since he was a
teenager, Nadal credits his un-
cles for getting him started in
the game of golf. In the accom-

Nadal, who made it to the semi-
finals in this year's BNP Paribas
Open, speaks of the beautiful
views and consistently great
weather that make Indian Wells
Golf Resort one of his favorite
places to tee it up.
