The resort was featured on the 2016 cover of Golfing Palm springs (at left), and was also highlighted in the santa barbara Independent along with the adjacent Miramonte Resort & Spa. And, finally, Indian Wells was voted the no. 1 golf resort in Southern California by readers of socal Golf Insider digital magazine in the december 2016 issue. IMProve yoUr GaMe YOGA CLASSES BEGIN IN JANUARY I ndian Wells Golf Resort has a new way to help im- prove your game in 2016: Yoga for Golfers. Classes begin on Jan. 26 and golfers can sign up for the four-week program that runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4 p.m. The four-week, eight-class pro- gram is available for $195, although drop-in spots are available for just $30 a session. "What we're doing is 100-percent golf specific," says golf fitness expert Katherine Roberts, who runs Yoga for Golfers. "There is zero yoga experience required, but every student will see an increase in their range of mo- tion by about 20-40 percent after just the first class."
