W ith the holiday season quickly approaching, there's a lot to celebrate inside Vue Grille & Bar. surf-and-turf Fridays and Prime rib saturdays will return to the dining room and bar, and will continue to be offered year round. The three-course menus are $36 and $28 per person, respectively. Monday through Friday, all-you- can-eat menus such as sushi or barbecue will change daily in the bar during happy hour, which runs from 3-7 p.m. In addition, Vue will be hosting a thanksgiving Buffet on Thursday, Nov. 27 from 2-8 p.m. Cost is $44.95 for adults and $17.95 for children 12 and under, and includes a carving station, a variety of hot selections, soup, salads and more – with all bottles of wine offered at 50% off. call (760) 834-3800 for full details. G uests can nosh on delicious small-plate items while sam- pling California wines this month inside Vue Grille & Bar. The Indian Wells Golf Resort rest- aurant is hosting its Wined Up for the Season tasting, which will feature 36 premium wineries on Nov. 14 with representatives pouring different va- rietals, along with champagne, while offering notes on each one. Tastings will include a brand new release from Cakebread Cellars called Mullan Road, a red blend made with grapes harvested from Walla Walla's Seven Hills vineyard in Washington. Cakebread will have several releases on display during the event. In addition, there will be wines from Taken Wine Company, which is owned by the sons of Swanson Vine- yards and Bob Trinchero Napa Valley proprietors. Guests will be able to purchase all of the featured wines at cost. A com- plementary dinner buffet with sliders, macaroni and cheese, a cheese display and more will be set up. There also will be live music. "The event, with the food compo- nent, offers guests a chance to come here and not just taste wine but also enjoy a meal," says Scott Winant, Director of Food and Beverage.
