Meet the distiller
Master Distiller Dennis Todd
will be at Vue Grille & Bar for a
night dedicated to the art of
distilling, an appropriate
event for a restaurant that of-
fers more than 300 brands of
whiskey. The event will in-
clude a meet and greet, and
participants will be able to
purchase whiskey bottles and
have them signed by Todd,
who hails from Garrison
Brothers Distillery. In addi-
tion, specials will be available
on :ights and old-fashioned
libations. The event begins at

Silver Oak
Wine Dinner
Silver Oak, which has been
producing food-friendly
Cabernets for 40 years and
farms more than 400 acres in
Napa and Alexander valleys,
will be highlighted at this
special event that also fea-
tures the culinary creations
of Chef Nestor Ruiz. Partici-
pants will be treated to a
main course of Wagyu New
York strip as well as delec-
table appetizers and dessert.

Indian Wells Golf Resort's

take place from 5-7 p.m., of-

wines from 20 dierent

wines featured will be avail-

Desert Two-Ball
Challenge
Two-player teams will com-
pete at a couple of Troon
Golf-managed properties in
the Coachella Valley. Playing
in a scramble format, teams
will vie for prizes and awards
over three days beginning on
the Celebrity Course at IWGR,
followed by a round at Clas-
sic Club in Palm Desert, and
concluding on the Players
Course at Indian Wells. Entry
is $598 per team, which in-
cludes golf, cart and an
awards ceremony.
