epresenting Troon Golf-
managed facilities from
around the world, 58 four-
player teams descended
upon Indian Wells Golf Resort Decem-
ber 4-6 for the 17th annual Troon Cup.
And when all was said and done,
the team from Entrada at Snow
Canyon of St. George, Utah, captured
the championship played over two
days on the Players
and Celebrity courses
at Indian Wells.
Competing in a for-
mat that included one
net and one gross best
ball per foursome, the team from En-
trada at Snow Canyon fired a 29-
under-par total to defeat the squad
from Slammer & Squire and third-
place winner Cimarron Hills.
Mark Peterson, Jim Behnke, Bran-
don Lyon and golf professional An-
drew Hopkins-Payne made up the
team from Entrada.
With 232 golfers competing in the
event, the 2019 Troon Cup was one of
the largest in tournament history.
