Cooking Class
Another installment of Chef
Nestor Ruiz's cooking classes
will take place at Vue Grille &
Bar at 6 p.m. The educational
session will focus on teaching
attendees how to prepare
their favorite meals from the
restaurant menu, as well as
providing them with other
cooking tips that Chef Nestor
has learned over the years.
Registration is $80, which in-
cludes wine pairings. Space is
limited to the first 30 atten-
dees. Spots can be reserved

Fashion Show
and Lunch
A dazzling array of apparel
will be on display from 11:30
a.m.-2 p.m. as Vue Grille & Bar
hosts a fashion show and
lunch. The cost to participate
is $25 and includes an lunch
entree and dessert. The In-
dian Wells Golf Resort pro
shop and other vendors will
exhibit apparel for the sea-
son, and 20 percent of the
proceeds from the show will
go toward supporting a des-

Bourbon Dinner
Get ready for five courses of
whiskey bliss as Vue Grille &
Bar serves up a Bourbon Din-
ner beginning at 6 p.m. The
five-course meal will feature
some of the culinary expert-
ise of Chef Nestor Ruiz with
servings such as sweet corn
chowder with crab, braised
pork belly, applewood
smoked bacon-wrapped
shrimp stuffed with Oaxaca
cheese, herb-roasted veni-
son chops, and a Jack
Daniels whiskey pie to top it
all off.

'Wine'd Up' Fall
Wine Tasting
The annual fall wine-tasting
extravaganza returns to Vue
Grille & Bar from 5-7 p.m.
with more than 150 wines
from 20 different wineries
available for sampling. The
event is $49 per person and
includes a full buffet dinner
as well as wines available for
purchase at drastically re-
duced prices. Varietals to be
showcased include every-
thing from the finest Caber-
nets and Merlots to Rieslings
and Pinots.

Invitational
The competition will be
fierce for the sixth-annual
event, which kicks off on
Super Bowl weekend. Teams
comprised of a golf profes-
sional and four amateurs will
compete on the Players
Course for a chance to win
big. Pros will have a shot at
claiming a share of a $10,000
purse, and amateurs will vie
for prized stay-and-play
packages. Entry is $1,500 per
team and a mixer kicks off
the event on Friday, Jan. 31
