COURSE REPORT
and on the following Monday, we'll begin the over-
seed process on the Celebrity Course, which will
reopen Friday, November 1.
The driving range and putting course (home to
Shots in the Night) are growing in nicely and
we've begun mowing and fertilizing those areas.
There are some significant changes in landscape
and other amenities at the putting
course, so we hope you come out and
have a look.
Playing conditions at the resort are
our main objective. But as with previ-
ous years, we're continuing to tackle
projects in the landscape areas, which
we are striving to make nicer and eas-
ier to maintain moving forward. We're also revis-
ing these areas to improve playing conditions that
might impact golfers, and hopefully make their ex-
perience even better.
This year you'll also see a few new practice areas
with target greens in the lower wash area. This was
implemented to give our guests an opportunity to
practice many different kinds of shots. We'll still
have the upper main driving range tee and the
lower range tee (for Thursdays), but we'll have a
new short-game area with targets between 50 and
100 yards. This new area will be in the wash, below
the bridge, hitting balls to the east.
Hope to see you out here soon.
