greens and modified others with leveling to allow
better opportunities for hole placements.
In addition, we've created walking paths, installed
permanent bench areas with fire pits, and removed
turf along the water feature edges to enhance the
landscape areas. Many palms and plants have been
added with some new up-lighting, and a walking
bridge now crosses the river for better access to
greens 4 and 5. The landscape areas have new ground
cover and boulders that add to the ambience of the
nighttime attraction.

PracticE MakES PErFEct: Finally, we've been
working hard on enhancing our practice facility and
have done so by improving the back practice tee at
the end of the driving range. We've also
added two tees on the east end of the
wash with several new targets.
On the lower range, we've finally re-
covered from the Valentine's Day flood,
and the tee and targets are improving.
On the east side, we've begun mow-
ing new targets in the channel and our plan is to cre-
ate a new short-game chipping and target area for
golfers to practice shots of 100 yards or less. We un-
derstand that we are subject to the next flood – but
creating these areas is nothing but hard work and vi-
sion, which we are full of both.
Enjoy the fall and we'll look forward to seeing you
soon on the fairways and greens.
