ProgrESS rEPort: During summer,
we were busy making the courses great
and improving conditions. On the Play-
ers Course, we've worked on aligning
some tee boxes to help golfers with their
pre-shot routines and have introduced
new technology to take measurements
that focus on the greens and soil mois-
ture levels.
In conjunction with an improved top-
dressing program – which includes
verti-cutting and weekly spray solu-
tions – the greens may be in the best
condition they have been in for quite
some time. They are receptive, yet firm,
and are rolling true and quick.
In addition, we've continued to focus
on landscape efforts and this winter we
will be spending time improving the
barranca areas.

BEautiFication ProjEctS: On the
Celebrity Course, we continue to moni-
tor soil conditions on the greens and
have implemented the same verti-cut-
ting and top-dressing program as on the
Players Course.
We've also been moving forward
with critical landscape improvements in
key areas. These areas encompass thou-
sands of square feet, with 10-15 valves
of irrigation per hole. We do this be-
cause it is difficult to focus on just one
area trying to make the proper improve-
ments, adjustments and amendments to
fully correct any issues. We're very ex-
cited about the process we are imple-
menting, which is allowing our staff to
become engaged and accept ownership
for our maintenance. Our motto is quite
simple: Find the problem, study the
problem, solve the problem, and man-
age the areas moving forward.
All the work will make a huge im-
provement, and after overseeding
we're sure guests will agree that overall
conditions are exceptional.

Surrounding arEaS: Up at the
putting course, which is home to Shots
in the Night, we have made many im-
provements over the past couple of
months. We've enlarged some of the
