BOOK
A TEE
TIME
S
hots in the Night has only been
open at Indian Wells Golf Resort
for two months, but already the
nighttime golf-entertainment experi-
ence is receiving rave reviews. Golf
Inc. Magazine recently selected it as
one of the Best New Amenities at pub-
lic and resort golf facilities.
"Our team is incredibly proud of
the nomination," said Matt Balesteri,
the Director of Night Golf at Indian
Wells. "The hard work that everyone
has put in to making this venue come
together, and the ideas and improve-
ments instilled each and every week
are the reasons why this has been
successful. It goes without saying -
we made the right decision with this
venture."
Since opening in mid-October,
Shots in the Night has seen a steady
stream of guests that is expected to re-
ally ramp up as the season kicks into
gear in January. And while the desert
experiences some cold nights in the
winter, the staff at Indian Wells has
adapted by adding heat lamps be-
tween the greens and in seating areas.
It's just one example of the resort's ef-
forts to meet and exceed expectations.
Guests can book the first time of the
night by calling (760) 345-4653, visit-
ing the golf shop, stopping by Shots in
the Night check-in or reserving online
at indianwellsgolfresort.com. Hotel
guests also have the option of reserv-
ing through the concierge.
The popularity of Shots in the
Night has attracted golfers of all skill
levels, and the key element has been
the emphasis on fun.
"We have found that novice golfers
enjoy it the same or even more than
avid golfers because there are ways to
let them compete on an even playing
field," Balesteri said.
