Fire up your taste buds for the "Wine'D
Up" Fall Wine Tasting, an epic event at In-
dian Wells Golf Resort that features more
than 150 varietals from 20 different winer-
ies. In addition, wines will be available to
purchase at drastically reduced prices
during the 5-7 p.m. festivities. Entry is $45
and includes a full buffet dinner as well as

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12
Vue Grille & Bar will host a Fashion Lunch
from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The cost is $25 and
includes an entree and dessert as well as
the fashion show featuring La-Di-Da Jew-
elry, City Lites Apparel, and the Indian
Wells Golf Resort pro shop. In addition,
20 percent of the proceeds from the show
will be donated to Animal Samaritans.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22
Vue will serve its annual Thanksgiving
buffet from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and at $49.95
per person ($22.95 for kids 12 and under),
it is one of the best deals around. The buf-
fet features all the favorite staples and
more, so there's truly something for every-
one. In addition to hand-carved turkey,
prime rib and ham, there will be au gratin
potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables,
stuffing, cranberry and gravy. Seafood
lovers can partake in snow crab legs and
gulf shrimp. Guests will also enjoy a selec-
tion of salads and desserts – everything
from pumpkin pie to apple streusel tarts.

As for the other upcoming holidays, Food
and Beverage Director Scott Winant and
his team are working on menus for the re-
sort's Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and
New Year's Eve dinners. With a new chef
coming on board later this month, menus
are expected to be finalized in the coming
weeks. On New Year's Eve, IWGR will offer
a fixed-price menu along with dancing,
entertainment, party favors and more.

Indian Wells Golf Resort will celebrate the
fifth year of the Indian Wells Pro-Am Invi-
tational, a fun yet competitive event
where golf professionals compete for a
$10,000 purse and amateurs vie for sub-
stantial prizes. Another full field of profes-
sionals and amateurs is expected to
compete in 2019 Pro-Am, an event that
features a welcome reception and mixer
on Friday, February 1, and tournament
action on the Players Course on Saturday,
Feb. 2. Tee gifts, on-course competitions
and an awards reception with hosted
food and beverage are also included.
Entry for each participating team is

partner and compete in the 2019 Desert
Two-Ball Challenge, a 54-hole event
held at three Troon Golf-managed proper-
ties in the Coachella Valley. Day 1 features
a Team Scramble on the Gary Player
Course at Westin Mission Hills, followed
by a Better Ball of Partners at Classic
Club and the finale on the Players Course
at Indian Wells Golf Resort. Prizes will
be awarded to the top teams in gross
and net divisions. The entry fee per
