I
t's never too early to talk turkey at
Indian Wells Golf Resort. That's
because plans for the annual
Thanksgiving Day buffet at Vue
Grille & Bar are in the works and
reservations are already being taken
for this dining extravaganza set for
Thursday, November 22, from 11
a.m.-7 p.m.
Guests who come out to enjoy the
day with family and friends will be
delighted with buffet selections that
include hot and cold fare, carving sta-
tion options, and an assortment of
pastries and desserts that are sure to
please the palate.
"It's a huge meal and there's so
much to choose from," said Director
of Food & Beverage Scott Winant.
"Our guests always leave the restau-
rant satisfied, which is why it has be-
come such a popular day at Indian
Wells and why we start taking reser-
vations so early."
For starters, some of the items on
the menu include salads, fresh au-
tumn fruit and an always-popular
smoked salmon platter.
"Guests also love our snow crab
legs and gulf shrimp with cocktail
sauce," Winant said.
On the hot side, diners can enjoy
dishes such as nutmeg-scented can-
died sweet potatoes, Pacific sea bass
with fried caper cream, and a cavat-
appi pasta with roasted tomatoes and
pine nuts.
The carving station will be serving
up herb roasted Tom turkey, slow
roasted prime rib and molasses
glazed ham. The dessert selections
are highlighted with Dutch apple
streusel tarts, pumpkin cheesecake
and pumpkin pie with brandy cream
to name a few.
