All-new food truck will offer guests a unique
outdoor dining experience at Indian Wells
S
omething new is rolling up to Indian Wells Golf Resort this fall.
In just a few short weeks, a state-of-the-art food truck will be-
come a trendy, go-to hub for golfers and guests looking for a quick
snack, tasty meal or refreshing beverage.
Helmed by Sous Chef Michael Mann and located on the landing
near the driving range, the food truck will liven up a familiar and
conveniently accessible location at the club. The old cafe, mean-
while, will be transformed into a reception area and golf tourna-
ment scoring lobby with expansive views.
The versatility of a food truck provides a unique opportunity to
move around with the action.
During the day, the truck offers classic items ranging from acai
bowls to burgers and hot dogs. At night, however, the food truck
serves the Inflatable Glow Range and Laser Putting Course to add
spice – literally – to the new Shots in the Night experience, with
chicken and waffle cones with spicy cole
slaw and bacon jalapeno mac & cheese
balls highlighting the after-dark menu.
To further light up the evening,
guests can also order specialty
cocktails served in glow cups.
"The food truck will be a desti-
nation in itself," said Event Sales Man-
ager Sydnee Tucker. "It's going to add an exciting new vibe to the
club. With fun and classic fare, the new food truck will make the
Shots in the Night experience a treat for all guests and golfers at
Indian Wells Golf Resort."

1) Making Reservations
Shots in the Night will be
open Thursday-Sunday from
sunset to 10 p.m. and located
right outside the clubhouse.
Beginning October 18, the
resort will book reservations
for the first hour of each night
up to one week in advance.
Guests will be able to reserve
the first available time.
Those looking to play later
in the night can arrange a
spot on the first-come, first-
serve waiting list a week in
advance as well. Campus
hotel guests and Indian
Wells Residents have pre-
ferred booking win-
dows available.
2) Focus on Fun
All games are cre-
ated with family fun
in mind. "I have per-
sonally played numerous
games with all levels of
golfers and adjusted the
level to beginner, intermedi-
ate and expert, and it was in-
credibly fun and competitive
for all," Balesteri said. "The
targets on the driving range
will vary from 40 yards to a
maximum of 150 yards, so
all golfers should be able to
enjoy themselves."
3) More Than Golf
An added amenity to the
resort's Shots in the Night
will be the introduction of
the Indian Wells Food Truck
serving breakfast, lunch, and
a special evening menu.
Players will enjoy every-
thing from short-rib grilled
cheese to ahi poke cones and
a plentiful selection of beer,
wine and liquor. "Hopefully,
the Three Putt specialty
cocktail isn't a predictor of
your results with the flat
stick," Balesteri joked.
4) Group Sizes and Rates
Each stall or green can be
reserved by the hour and
available for up to six parti-
cipants at $40 per hour.
Clubs and balls are included.
5) Booking Private Parties
Private parties can be
booked by contacting Event
Sales Manager Sydnee
Tucker at (760) 834-3831 or
